To start the process,simply connect the micro USB cable between the Sleep8 device and an accessible and working electrical outlet. When plugged in,your Sleep8 will beep once and the battery indicator will be seen on the screen. You can either use the Sleep8 while plugged in or on battery power. How does the cleaning procedure work? Before you begin the sanitizing process,make sure you clean up your CPAP mask with a wipe to remove residue or facial oils from the cushion. Once you place the mask,tube and water chamber inside the bag,seal it shut. On the outside of the bag,you’ll notice a triangular port which attaches directly to the Sleep8 CPAP Cleaner.
With the device attached,and the bag sealed,press the round power button on the Sleep8 until you hear a beep. The device will light up and the device timer will begin the countdown,starting the sanitation process.
The device is virtually quiet. But you will hear the fan adjust speed from time to time or see the filter bag inflate,but this process is perfectly normal during sanitation.
In about an hour,the Sleep8 device will beep,and the screen will say ok,and the device will shut off.
When the device shuts off,you can open the bag and remove your CPAP equipment.
